Job description
• Perform solid-phase peptide synthesis and purification using commercial instruments
• Peptide modifications and developing new linker chemistries.
• Synthesis, purification and analytical characterization of peptide conjugates.
• Design and synthesis and analysis of peptide arrays for epitope mapping and screening.
• Experience in materials and surface conjugation chemistry.
• Hands-on experimentalist with strong skills in synthetic bioorganic chemistry.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
Qualifications
• Ph.D. degree in Peptide/ Bioorganic chemistry or related biological sciences or equivalent with a minimum of 2-6 years of experience in peptide/ protein chemistry
• Experience in design and synthesis of peptide libraries and microarray synthesis
• Prior experience working with HPLC systems and other analytical instrumentation
• Must be able to work on projects of a multidisciplinary nature
• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and organized and able to work in a team environment
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms
• Effective team skills and ability to understand deadlines and commitments
• Strong work ethic and willingness and ambition to learn and take on responsibilities
